Hainan Lao Ong 海南老王 Laksa, Chai Leng Park – Not Just Laksa. Instead Delicacies

Behind the bush, below the tree, somewhere hidden and not obvious to the main road. This stall is known as Hainan Lao Ong (海南老王) . From what we have found from Google, this is the place for Laksa. However, after checkout, we found that this place serves delicacies that are more than Laksa. The octopus ‘tu bo sui’ here is bouncy and juicy in texture served with just a simple soy sauce and deep-fried garlic. On top of that there, dinners can get their fresh seafood from the wet market nearby while letting the stall owner cook instead. The steamed prawns with soy sauce and the golden pomfret with soy paste are also great delicacies as the ingredients are made fresh. This is a great place for those that love fresh or catch of the day.
