Have you ever had nightmare on jumping off from somewhere high or someone push you from behind? These nightmares were so real that your whole body will jerk to wake you up. Is this normal? Will this effect us physically or mentally? I am having these dreams very often lately. Therefore I am looking for some answers and hope that get some advises as well.

In Chinese culture, the older people believe in reincarnation. They offen said if a person died without peace, his soul will become a lost soul that will repeat the way he died again and again. This goes the same even if a person died in peace and after reincarnation again, he still will have images of his past life. This might be his last scene before he died.

As for science-fi person like me, I believe in Matrix. Dream is a set of electronic waves which flow from another dimension. Some time, you might dream of some places or some incidents that you have never been to until few months or years later you are actually at that place and you realised that it had happened in your dream before. Is this coincident? You haven’t been to that place or meet that incidents before, why were they appear in your dream? Deja-vu! Whereas falling off from high places in the dream is actually a strong electronic wave sent by someone, somewhere which actually receives by our brain frequency when we are at dream. It might be that person is in a danger or he is calling for help.

Anyway dreams of falling is a popular myth, you will die if you do not wake up before your hit the ground during a fall. Is this true?
According to Freudian theory, dreams of falling indicate that you are contemplating giving into a sexual urge or impulse. You maybe lacking indiscretion.

Dreams of falling typically occurs during the first stage of sleep. Dreams in this stage are often accompanied by muscle spasms of the arms, legs, and the whole body. These sudden contractions, also known as myclonic jerks. Sometimes when we have these falling dreams, we feel our whole body jerk or twitch and we are awaken from this jerk. It is thought that this jerking action is part of an arousal mechanism that allows the sleeper to awaken and become quickly alert and responsive to possible threats in the environment.
Dream of falling whether is a spiritual event? or a strong brain wave or just an indicator? Which one will you believe? Anything to be done on preventing dreams of falling? This is still a myth.
