Finally, this shows to the rest of the nation that Penangites are standing united!! Long waited even after 40 years, Penang has never been ruled by opposition party. Now, is the time for a change.

People used to say that the Chinese community is the most selfish and stingy race and only take care of themselves. However, from this election it shows we are standing together and we have shown that we want changes and we need someone who can speak on behalf of us instead of “YA” (Yes) and “Botol” - Betul (Right) only.

Rocket (DAP) can only land in Penang successfully after 40 years of flight and this is the longest journey in history. We really hope that DAP can speak for us and make changes after the victory.

Anyway, this is also the most quiet victory that I have ever met compared to the previous few rounds of polling. I was still dare enough to walk around Gurney Place on 8th of March just after the result was unofficially anounced. Anyway, there are plentiful of parking slots available compared to usual Saturday evening. After I notice something not right, I quickly rush back to my home without second thought. As Jeff Ooi mentioned “Stay calm. No victory parade. Don’t give any party the reason to declare an emergency“. Yeah, back to home with a can of beer in my hand and watching the live news over the television which annouced the official polling result. My dad and I were so delighted with the result of this election, especially rocket has landed in Penang and “Semi Value becomes No Value”.

I still remember someone said on TV that “Chinese + Indian are only 40% of overall voters whereas Malay consists of 60% of all the voters” and so he is focusing only on that 60%. Now result proven, who was really helping you on the last election? So moral of the story is to think twice before you speak, you might end up slapping your own face. PADAN MUKA!!
