Coffee Elements, All Seasons Place – The Element to Start the Day

Everyone has an element that keeps him/her moving. As for me, the element that starts my day off is the coffee element. Coffee is an essential source for me. Without this element, the whole day will be a bad hair day for me.

For those who are having the same problem to kick start the day without coffee element can to try get you engine started at coffee elements. There are two outlets of coffee elements, one is at 3rd floor of Gurney Paragon while the other one is at 2nd level of All Seasons Place, Farlim. For me, a better choice would be the one at All Seasons Place due to its coziness and tranquility in the morning.

It is not hard to locate this place. If you are driving from Penang Bridge, you will need to use Jalan Masjid. Look for the left junction that you will turn into Lorong Batu Lanchang. Drive along Lorong Batu Lanchang, you will find there is a traffic light junction that will lead to the left to Lebuhraya Thean Tek. Keep driving until you pass by All Seasons Place on your left.

When you turn into this place, look for the signboard on the second floor and you won’t miss this. However, when you reached 2nd floor, you won’t see the signboard again and the only signature that you can see at the front door is the yellow caption that is written with business hours and located at the corner unit. This shop is confirmed to be Coffee Elements.

This place is generous to provide free flow of baguette for every bowl of soup purchased.

The cozy surrounding no matter inside or outside, it makes you feel comfortable and homely.

All the items available in this cafe is clearly written on the black board in front of the counter.

The owner of the cafe, En. Zaki showing a “victory” sign when I snap the surrounding.

English Bloomer Quickie-Ham – RM5.50(Single), RM9.50(Double), the name “bloomer” is referring to the loaf of bread that is round edged. The bread was placed at the bottom and topped with slices of hams, cheese and tomato slices. It was then sprinkled with some herbs and pepper.

The ham, cheese and tomato slices make a very well-balanced diet for breakfast. I just love this kind of simple and healthy breakfast. The only drawback is the bloomer was not enough. If there are 2 slices, this dish will be perfect.

Bagel Heavenly Egg – RM7.00. Besides English Bloomer, another attraction here is the bagels. Heavenly egg was actually chopped half-boiled egg mixed with butter and mayonnaise, sprinkled with some herbs and pepper and it was placed between the bagel and a few slices of lettuce.

The taste of the bagel here is almost similar to Mugshot Cafe, this is because the bagels from these two places are prepared from the same bakery. I personally find the bagels at Coffee Elements are more chewy, however they have a better competitive price. The heavenly egg bagel was also a bit too plain for me. Next time I would like to try their Beefy Salami.

Affogato – RM6.00, one of their greatest drinks here is Affogato, the hot espresso which is topped with vanilla flavored ice cream. The creamy and the sweetness of the ice cream balanced off the bitterness of the espresso. I prefer this drink than the plain espresso.

Cafe Latte – RM7.00, the main element that I would have for the day. The taste of the coffee here is similar to most of the cafes. The difference is the barrister possesses a better skill at designing the coffee art.

Overall, this place was very cozy, the price of the food was reasonable and the food here was very unique. There are plenty of places for parking in the morning so parking is not a problem here at this hour.
